Dr. D. David Schultz, also known as Dr. D or Dr. David, was a professional wrestler who competed in the 1970s and 1980s. He was known for his tough, no-nonsense persona and his aggressive in-ring style.
Schultz competed in various wrestling promotions, including the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and the American Wrestling Association (AWA). He is perhaps best known for an incident in 1984 where he famously slapped reporter John Stossel during an interview for ABC's 20/20 program. This incident resulted in Schultz being fired from the WWF and his wrestling career was never the same.
After retiring from wrestling, Schultz worked as a bounty hunter and has made occasional appearances on the independent wrestling circuit. Despite his controversial reputation, Schultz remains a memorable figure in the world of professional wrestling.
